Process Mining with SAP Signavio

This course provides a practical introduction to SAP Signavio Process Intelligence , focusing on how organisations use real execution data to understand, analyse, and improve their business processes.
You will learn how process mining works in practice, how data is transformed into process views, and how SAP Signavio enables analysts to identify inefficiencies, deviations, and improvement opportunities based on facts rather than assumptions.

By the end of the course, you will understand how to use SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, including how to:

• Build and interpret event logs for process mining
• Upload event log into Signavio
• Build and understand Process Discovery, Variant Explorer, Value widgets, Bar Charts, Line Charts
• Apply filters and thresholds
• Perform bottleneck and root cause analysis
• Navigate confidently through the Process Intelligence module
• SAP Process Navigator (SAP Best Practices)
• Practice quiz to test your new knowledge
• Prepare for the official SAP Signavio Certified – Process Data Analyst exam

You will also understand how Process Intelligence fits within the wider SAP Signavio suite and how it complements modules such as Process Insights and Process Manager.

You will learn what process mining is, how it works in practice, and how Object-Centric Process Mining (OCPM) extends traditional mining to analyse multiple interconnected business objects.

I also share how I passed the official SAP Process Data Analyst | SAP Signavio exam and walk you through the actual questions I was asked.

Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion recognising their foundational skills in SAP Signavio process mining.

This is our Level 1 course, focused on introducing the fundamentals of process mining and the Signavio platform. In the Level 2 course, we go deeper into more advanced analytical techniques (e.g. data modelling with SIGNAL, Process Conformance) and practical investigations in SAP Signavio.
