Learn NaxTo for Office. Take your FEM reports to next level, With NaxTo you can create FEM reports faster and easier using advanced tools and smart reporting in Microsoft Office.
Description
This course is the continuation of “Learn how to use NaxTo. Take your FEM analysis to the next level”, and focuses on NaxTo’s Microsoft Office tools. Here you will learn how to use NaxToDoc and NaxToCell to take your FEM reporting and data management to the next level.
You will work with NaxToDoc and NaxToCell, which allow you to create, update and automate technical reports in Word, Excel and PowerPoint directly from your FEA result files. NaxToDoc lets you extract and update images from NASTRAN, ABAQUS, OPTISTRUCT and ANSYS result files into Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint without reopening the viewer. NaxToCell links your result files directly to Excel cells through intuitive user-defined functions, making it easy to extract, update and manipulate results just like any other Excel formula.
This course assumes you already know how to install and activate NaxTo and how to work with NaxToView and NaxToPy, which are covered in the first course.
The course is divided into the following sections:
– SECTION 1: NAXTODOC – EXTRACT IMAGES TO MS OFFICE
You will learn how to work with NaxToDoc to extract images from result files (inp, odb, bdf, dat, op2, xdb, h5, fem, h3d, rst) into Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Through step by step videos you will see how to update images when the finite element model changes, so your documents are always up to date. This section includes a practical exercise with additional materials.
– SECTION 2: NAXTOCELL – LINK RESULTS TO EXCEL CELLS
You will learn how to use NaxToCell to link result files directly to Excel cells, extract and update results in a much easier and faster way and build automated calculation sheets. You will work with a practical exercise and complementary Excel workbooks so you can keep practicing on your own.
– SECTION 3: MODELS AND TEMPLATES TO PRACTICE
